First Session Success@OnRampLive

Tonight I had the opportunity to engage 5 Higley High Schoolers looking for opportunity.. direction.. encouragement and eligibility.

I don't know which of us was rewarded more. Seeing young men focused on acheiving their goals while at the same time still being freshmen in high school was an experience that was, as the kids would say, LIT.

We laid out the ground rules, established shared committment and started building a foundation that will last far beyond the high school years.

Feeling how this can impact both their futures and mine is so exciting. We have started something that will have impact. It will succeed. It will bring opportunities to them that before today may not have been seen.

At the same time, I am committed in continuing to be humble in this calling. As you read this blog, I am certain there is one thing you learned in school that has contributed to your success as an adult. Sharing is caring! Let me know in the comments and please stay involved. It takes a village...

I give thanks for my village, for my villagers and for all of the people that I have ever met that have encouraged me.
