DO TUTORS HAVE A SPECIFIC TEACHING QUALIFICATION?
Not always; however, a passion for helping students achieve their goals is a requirement!
HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR TUTORING SERVICES?
Small group sessions lead by StudyNow Leaders are held on Tuesday nights for Higley High School students at no charge. Private lessons are booked at the rates listed in the Book Online section and are subject to change.
Scholarship discounts are available depending on a student or family's financial circumstances.
WHERE DO YOU HOLD YOUR SESSIONS?
Sessions are held at primarily at a Study Group Leader's home or the student's home. However, some sessions may be held at the Southeast Regional Library in Gilbert located at 775 N Greenfield Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85234 (Greenfield and Guadalupe Rd).
WHY DO YOU DO THIS?
From the Founder: I have worked in corporate training and development for 15 years and have three children of my own. Watching my children grow and develop in school, while spending a decade developing adults for a range of employment opportunities, I realized all that students (of any age) may need is a few new habits, smart goal setting, basic study skills, a good dose of encouragement and someone to hold them accountable.
The satisfaction of seeing students succeed is a rich reward.
We call this the "OnRamp" -- a transition to the next phase of life, focusing on the skills needed to be successful. As students learn to focus, shift, get up to speed & make a decisive merge onto the highway of life, we ride along in the navigator's seat.

StudyNow is an educational services company focused on learning beyond the classroom. The StudyNow Tutoring Services Platform CATCHES students during critical transitions in their educational careers.
We CREATE Neighborhood OnRamps that provide students access to local tutoring & mentoring services one on one or in a group setting.
We ASSIST parents, teachers, coaches and families to benefit all students.
We TEACH students to shift gears, move from one speed to another then slow down to FOCUS as they move forward and to the left, toward the fast lanes of LIFE.
We CONNECT students to resources that are readily available, but may exist just outside of their field of view.
We HELP students navigate the merge from middle to high school or high school to college.
We ELEVATE students' skills in goal-setting, note-taking, test prep and organizational skills.
We SUPPORT StudyNow Tutors, Mentors, Study Group Leaders, Neighborhood OnRamps, students, parents, teachers, coaches and teams with OnRamp Assessments, OnRamp original content, Technical Support and StudyNow SCORES Technology (Scheduling Communication, Online Resources, Email & Social).
